A GRAND CELEBRATION -VOICESOF BELONGING

The America 250 Commemorative Concert is a powerful  celebration of heritage, inclusivity, and song. Featuring an all female ensemble of acclaimed vocalists — Meredith Hansen (Metropolitan Opera), Madison Marie McIntosh (Florida Grand Opera), and Zhanna Alkhazova (Carnegie Hall, Sarasota Opera) — the program interweaves beloved arias by Puccini and Verdi with American songs that reflect immigrant journeys and underrepresented voices. Together, these works illuminate the richness of cultural exchange and the enduring resonance of diverse stories told through music. Curated by soprano Zhanna Alkhazova,

Founder and Artistic Director of ACMS, the performance brings world-class artistry toan intimate setting while honoring West Hartford’s 250thanniversary. This one-of-a-kind program not only celebrates opera’s great traditions but also affirms the inclusive spirit at the heart of both our community and the nation’s founding ideals.
